Some of our customers highlighted the need of having the ability to automatically logon into remote machines without having to insert system credentials, as well as logon into computers with the resident installed without having to put the password because the computer is locked. The reason for us to do the things this was purely for security reasons. We want to provide the most secure remote support solution and don’t mind to cut some functionality that may pose additional risks to the remote computers. Nevertheless, the requests from the community continue to come and we decided to implement those features in the most secure way possible. The next version of BASE will offer the possibility of restart the computer and log back in windows without inserting anything (the credentials have to be supplied before the restart, by the technician or by the client) and we also provide a way to disable the automatic locking of Windows at the end of each session made to computers with the resident installed. We try our best to alert our users to the extra care needed when using those options. The new BeAnywhere Support Express will be publicly available on the next days. Stay tuned!
